Mari-Lynn has lived on both coasts, the Deep South, the cold North and the Midwest. But when it came time to give her children roots in 2002, she chose Kansas for the outstanding schools, strong communities, and economic opportunities. Mari-Lynn and her husband David have a blended family of seven children and two grandchildren. Combined, they have 62 years of education experiences at Johnson County public schools. Mari-Lynn has been a higher education professional and a small business owner. She has worked as a Campus Director and as an Admissions, Academic Advising, and Financial Aid officer. She has the experience and perspective necessary to represent her community as State Representative.
