Senator Vin Gopal and his running mates Dr. Margie Donlon & Luanne Peterpaul, Esq. with special guest, Actress, Activist and Jersey Shore’s own, Piper Perabo hosted voters for complimentary drinks, food & conversation. Such incredible energy in the room to get folks excited about turning out to vote!
Joel de la Fuente, Actor, Hometown Board Member and proud New Jersey resident helped rally the crowd at a “100 Days Out Rally” in South Brunswick for NJ legislative district 16. With many incredible local elected officials and candidates in attendance, including the full LD 16 slate, State Senator Andrew Zwicker, Assemblyman Roy Freiman, and their running mate, Mitchell Drulis, spirits and energy were high as they kicked off a canvassing event.
It was great to gather such an inspiring group in person in New York City to celebrate the community of artists and donors of The Hometown Project.

After you vote on Tuesday, November 6th, please join us at The Clover Club in Brooklyn for drinks, food & conversation as we watch the results come in and track our 45 local candidates in over 15 states!
We will be toasting to thank the many artists - writers, editors, actors, and musicians who worked so tirelessly and diligently throughout the election season. Many gave their talents and time so that together we could help give voice to so many dynamic local candidates in hometowns across the country!
This is a casual event. There is no fee to attend, though donations are accepted/encouraged.

Concert for The Commonwealth : A Midterm Hootenanny with Michael Shannon’s Corporal, YAPA, JD Green (a.k.a. The Library Lady) and special guests

Lexington KY born Michael Shannon and former Louisville musician Ray Rizzo bring their band Corporal to Louisville on the weekend before election day to support political efforts and candidates aimed at serving the common good and reversing climate change. Corporal's set will also feature Louisville musicians Chris "Roadie" Rodahaffer (gtr) and Jimmy Brown (bass). Also appearing will be YAPA, JD Green (aka The Jazzy Librarian) and special guests.

On Saturday November 3 at Smiley Pete, Lexington native Michael Shannon (Shape of Water, Boardwalk Empire) will host a spirited exchange and music concert in support of the voting process and KY candidates running for THE COMMON WEALTH.
