A long-time resident of the district, Kacie has called Hoyleton home since childhood. She is the daughter of two working parents, and she understands the experiences of working families in the district. Kacie has worked in healthcare, education and with nonprofits. As part of her service in AmeriCorps, Kacie taught underprivileged youth and worked in re-entry services with women leaving the criminal justice system. Kacie understands the unnecessary hardships that can befall families struck by tragedy and what we can do as a community, and as a state, to help alleviate the burden for Illinois families.

Priorities:

Restore the American Dream; guarantee health care as a human right; invest in quality jobs for the people of Illinois; defend funding for all levels of education.
