As a retired air traffic controller with a strong record of public and community service, Bill Otto has long been a leader in his community. He has served as a City Council member in Bridgeton, then as a Representative to the Missouri State Legislature, from District 70. Bill has faced many personal challenges. When he was 15, his mother died and he was sent to a boys home. Bill was provided food and shelter until he was 17, at which point a state law forced him to leave. Bill knows how the law affects peoples’ lives, and as a state representative, he will work to help his community.

Priorities:

Bring economic growth and development to the region; support organized labor; make education funding a top priority in the state budget.
