Dr. Rachael Morocco was born and raised in the Cleveland area by two hard-working parents. Her mother was a nurse, before becoming a social worker, and her father was a small business owner and local mayor. Rachael received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Mt. Union College and she received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Now, she is working as a lead physician in the Westerville Primary Care Center and she is a professor at The Ohio State University, where she teaches in the medical school. Rachael met her husband, Frank, in college and they married in 2007. Frank and Rachael are now the proud parents of two children.

Gun violence prevention; smart local growth; raise the minimum wage and eliminate the gender gap; affordable postsecondary education and well-funded public education; expand health coverage.
