Nate Shannon grew up with the values of public service instilled in him. After watching his parents dedicate themselves to teaching, he became a public school teacher himself. Nate understands that high-quality K-12 education is crucial to a person’s success in life. Since January 2015, Nate has served on the Sterling Heights city council, working to ensure the financial stability and progressive innovation of his community. As the State Representative for Michigan’s 25th District, he will use his experiences in public service to continue building opportunities for everyone.
