A local Kentucky teacher, a father and a husband, Lamar Allen believes that every child deserves better educational and career opportunities. Lamar has dedicated the last decade of his life to working directly with students and their families, with the ultimate goal of ending generational poverty. As a current educator in public schools, Lamar will be a representative for children and families — he will support community needs.

Priorities:

Reinvest into Kentucky’s education so it can be competitive in the 21st century; ensure LGBTQ+ citizens have the same undeniable rights as all others; strengthen labor unions.
