A proud hometown native of Hilliard, Ohio, and a graduate of The Ohio State University, Crystal came to love the inclusive and exciting environment of Central Ohio. After becoming a strong advocate for her brother, David, who was managing mental health issues and substance abuse, Crystal was inspired to work with children who were dealing with mental illness. So after graduation, she became a Case Manager at North Central Mental Health. Though she left this job to care for her son, who was diagnosed with a complex genetic disorder, Crystal remained a leader in her community, supporting candidates who were fighting for progress at all levels. She is now ready to take her personal and leadership experiences to the State Senate.
