Running for: Michigan State House, District 38
Joey Andrews is a fifth-generation Southwest Michigan native who, after witnessing his parents’ struggle firsthand during the Great Recession of 2008, immediately went to action. Working as a policy analyst for the Michigan AFL-CIO and spending years organizing for change in hometown, Andrews has dedicated his life to serving his community and all of the working families in Southwest Michigan that he feels deserve a voice to champion them. Andrews is running for election to the Michigan House of Representatives District 38 because, as a pro-worker, pro-Michigan, proactive public servant, Andrews knows that problems don’t just disappear—they need someone to help solve them.
