Running for: Michigan State House, District 27

Jaime is a longtime resident of Downriver, a graduate of Madonna College, and a 5th grade teacher. The idea to run for state representative actually came to her through an assignment for her students. She asked them to write down three dreams they had for their lives, and when she decided to join them in the activity she realized how passionate she was about running for public office. She loves serving her students in the classroom, and looks forward to serving them in an even larger way as state representative.

Priorities:

-Invest in communities, not corporations

-Invest in schools, children and educators

-Expand comprehensive reproductive healthcare services for women
