Running for: Michigan US House, District 10

 

Carl Marlinga is running for election to represent Michigan's 10th Congressional District in the U.S. House. Marlinga, a lifelong Michigander, served for nearly 40 years as Macomb County prosecutor, and was recently a judge on the 16th Probate Court and Judicial Circuit Court. In his time serving the Michigan people, Marlinga has never left anyone behind and his track record shows it. Marlinga has made it a priority to support and provide resources for survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse, those struggling with their mental health, and children who have suffered from abuse and neglect. Over a period of twenty years, Marlinga has helped increase the number of female lawyers in the prosecutor’s office from 7% to 50%, expanding their opportunities for professional development. Marlinga vows to secure resources for small businesses, families, and entrepreneurs to ensure they have the necessary tools to flourish in a rapidly-changing environment.
